Fibromyalgia - Literally Means 'Muscle Pain' - But Why Do Your Muscles Hurt?!

4/12/2018

Fibromyalgia is one of those diagnostic labels for a huge catalogue of symptoms.
  • Fibro- is Latin for fibers.
  • -myo is Latin for muscles.
  • -algia is Latin for pain.
If you have been diagnosed with this condition basically you're being told you have “muscle pains” in English. The question is WHY DO YOUR MUSCLES HURT?!

My colleagues and I have collectively seen many patients with Fibromyalgia with fantastic results. From the first visit I always ensure you're not expecting miracles, however over the course of just 2 weeks we will have a very good idea how well ABC will help you... watch this space.
I treated Kirsty with 'Fibromyalgia' in the PPWC office in Falkirk and in the first month of treatment she noticed encouraging improvement in her breathing and muscle soreness. Both of us would like to let everyone out there know that there is hope for you too.

What did you notice After your first visit?

I had a good night's sleep that evening, the next day had a terrible day with the left arm and gnawing pain in the left shoulder which was how the pain and problems started in the beginning.
Breathing felt a bit freer after the first visit.
