I graduated from AECC Chiropractic College in 2007 and spent 10 years working in a multidisciplinary clinic in Weymouth.
There, I learned the value of treating the body as a whole — and how stress and worry can influence pain and recovery. After my first ABC™ adjustment in 2011, I could breathe and move more freely. I remember thinking, “I have to learn this — I feel great.” My husband, Adrian and I moved to the Scottish Borders in 2017 for the mountain biking and outdoor lifestyle.
During lockdown, I began training myself to breathe exclusively through my nose while riding, inspired by performance specialist Brian Mackenzie’s work on nasal breathing into higher heart rate zones and its powerful benefits. Recognising how well this aligned with my structural correction approach, I completed Buteyko Breathing Instructor training with renowned breathing expert Patrick McKeown, qualifying in 2021. I now include breathwork exercises in chiropractic sessions to support people with asthma, obstructive sleep apnoea, and other breathing difficulties. |

- Headaches can be a symptom of other things going on in the body. I will only treat you when I am absolutely certain that I can help you.
- In some cases, further investigation is required.
- Head pain is often accompanied with other symptoms such as brain fog, dizziness, vertigo and nausea which can respond very well to treatment.

Rounded, hunched, slumping shoulders and forwards protruding abdomen are a result of misalignments of the spine that the body cannot self-correct.
When your body is in this shape no amount of exercises or stretching will correct it without forcing the problem elsewhere in the body.
The great thing about getting your body adjusted is that your posture stays upright without you having to hold it.
