Sarah Bedford DC
I graduated from the Chiropractic College, AECC in 2007 and worked for 10 years in a multidisciplinary clinic in Weymouth for 10 years.
The principle Chiropractor there taught me an enormous amount about treating people's pains and body problems by paying close attention to the body as a whole, including how stress and worry affects our pain. I had my first ABC™ adjustment in 2011, I could breathe and move so much better, and remember thinking "I have to learn to do this because I feel great!" My husband, Adrian and I moved to the Scottish Borders in 2017 for the mountain biking and the outdoors.
When we went into lockdown I started training myself to exclusively nasal breathe whilst riding my bike having listened to podcasts where human performance specialist, Brian Mackenzie talked about being able to nose breathe well into heart rate zone 4 and the enormous benefits that brings. I made the decision to do the Buteyko Breathing Instructor training with renowned breathing expert Patrick McKeown because it was clear that this method was going to compliment my structural correction work so well. I am pleased to say I qualified in 2021 and have a program of breath work sessions in place to help people with asthma, obstructive sleep apnoea and other breathing difficulties. |

- Headaches can be a symptom of other things going on in the body. I will only treat you when I am absolutely certain that I can help you.
- In some cases, further investigation is required.
- Head pain is often accompanied with other symptoms such as brain fog, dizziness, vertigo and nausea which can respond very well to treatment.

Rounded, hunched, slumping shoulders and forwards protruding abdomen are a result of misalignments of the spine that the body cannot self-correct.
When your body is in this shape no amount of exercises or stretching will correct it without forcing the problem elsewhere in the body.
The great thing about getting your body adjusted is that your posture stays upright without you having to hold it.
