FAQs

What can I expect?
Your 75 minute initial consultation includes a full health history and thorough physical assessment. At your second visit, the Report of Findings (allow approximately 45 minutes), I explain what I’ve discovered, how it affects your current and future health, and exactly how I can help.
You’ll receive a clear action plan, including simple exercises, posture guidance, and — if you’d like — advice on nutrition.
Do the adjustments hurt?
No — treatment isn’t painful. Some techniques may feel briefly awkward or uncomfortable, but never painful. If you arrive in pain, I adjust my approach to be gentle. I also explain every step of the process, so you can relax and know exactly what to expect.
will i see quick results?
Potentially! While I can’t guarantee results, most clients notice improvements in posture, pain, range of motion, or breathing within 1–3 sessions. These early changes are positive signs that we’re on the right path toward long-term improvement. I’ll always give you my honest, realistic estimate of how long your progress may take — and if I feel I can’t help, you’ll know that upfront.
how will i know if you can help me?
Try this: Stand in front of a mirror and breathe naturally, then let your body relax and slump. Notice your shoulders, head, chin, posture, and breath — is it shallow, tight, or uneven?
If you answered “yes” to any of these, it's very likely that I can help you!
do you adjust babies?
Absolutely! I treat many babies and children, and they often enjoy the experience. I make it playful and gentle, taking breaks if they seem uncomfortable, letting parents cuddle them, and resuming once they’re calm and settled. It's important to me that their visit is a positive one.
how long does it take?
Your first 2 visits are extended consultations, taking around 75 minutes for the first and 45 minutes for the second. From there on in, I allow 20 minutes for regular adjustment appointments.
If we find we need more time then I simply allocate a longer session.
